Sweet Portia

She chose us when Kenton was only 8 months old.  She nibbled on Caleb's and Mark's ears.

Goodbye Portia

She has been the sweetest girl.  So sad to say goodbye.

    I'm so sorry, Angela. She looks like a sweetie! I have a 12-year-old lab whose health has taken a turn for the worse, so I can imagine how you feel.

    So sorry for your loss! It's so sad when a faithful member of the fam is gone. My dog's name is also Portia and she's 15 years old. BOO!

    I'm so sorry to hear the news about Portia. We had to say goodbye to our black lab a couple years ago. I cried as hard as I've cried with the passing of any other family member. Hugs to you during this time.

    (((Hugs))) I know how you're feeling. We euthanized our beautiful Maine Coon Cat, Sera, this afternoon. She was 16.
    I hope the good memories of your puppy outweighs the sadness sooner rather than later for you and your family.

    I am sorry for you loss. It is so hard to loss a pet. I love the blue nail for the blue mood. I need to tell my daughter that. She lost her bird a week or so ago. Hang in there!

    oh - how sad. we were thinking of getting a puppy and that was the first thing dan said - but she'll die someday. (incidentally, we're going to wait until we don't have a baby anymore).

    oh so sad, it's hard to lose a dog when it has grown up with your kids. so glad she is in so many of your memories!
