The spa treatment did the trick!
I already got my machine back - they must have seen the crazy look in my eye when I dropped it off, fearing it would be gone for ages.

Their little sample stitching....not a skipped stitch in the bunch. Hurray!
And accumulated a nice stack of hexagons-to-be while I was waiting for my machine to return.
Hurray, Hurray! I love the colour of the hexagons and the flying geese are amazing.
