I checked the date - it's JANUARY 6. We are outside with just light jackets.
We live in Chicago. Very very strange, but I'll take it.
Then Becket ran for the camera.
He took about 40 pictures. It just kept getting better.

I had to run outside with my camera when I saw the sky all lit up in orange this evening too!
We have the same weather. It was sweater weather here when it's usually hats and coats this time of year. I love it, even if the ski resorts have absolutely no snow. I'm totally okay with no snow.
I live in Oswego, and we were watching the sky as well, but earlier. It was gorgeous.

We've had wild weather here in Nashville, too - it was almost 70 yesterday, in what is usually our coldest month of the year! I'm not knocking it - it's wonderful!!
