Speed binding!

I have to speed bind....what is the fastest that one can hand stitch the binding down on a 65" square quilt? Laura arrives tomorrow morning, and the binding looks like this right now.....



....because I spent the day securing 5 free airline tickets to here...


and here...


and here - the first time back since Becket came along.

Yipes, good luck!

Eh, just go for a whip stitch and don't stress about the thread showing. That makes it go faster. :-)

Or pin it down and topstitch with the machine?

And man, I am beyond jealous of your tropical trip!

The only fast way I know is to use the sewing machine to sew down the binding. The place looks like a wonderful vacation spot.

that looks like a amazing trip in the making...i have had all night marathon bindings. i have never tried machine binding but i bet that is way faster
