I can See!

I did it without freaking out - no fainting, no hypovetilating.

It's about 9 hours post-procedure and I can see at least as well as with my glasses.  Appointment tomorrow 9:20am to get checked out officially.

I'm so happy!

{I went to that appointment this morning, and I'm officially 20/20 at this point and eyes looking healthy!  Hopefully my prescription doesn't slip over the new few weeks and I continue to heal well.

Thank you so much for all your well wishes and encouragement!}

Here's a cathedral window finished a couple of days ago - testing out methods.  I think it will become a pin cushion once a week has passed and I can be around dusty things again.

congrats!! I did lasik a year ago this March, isn't it amazing? I though have to have an enhancement done, to both eyes, UHG because I am still not 20/20 :/ BUT that does not happen to very many people, hopefully yours will be stable and not change! Congrats again!

Hooray! So glad the surgery was a success! Everyone I've talked to has had the same report - unbelievable how quickly and how well they could see. Yay!

congrats! I can't wait to have my prescription settle down and get lasik myself. Grad school has been a nightmare for my eyes and they keep getting worse!

Congratulations! I had mine done before there was lasik(it was called PRK). It was the best thing I ever did. The only problem I had was when I went back to work 5 days a week and working in front of a computer my eyes did fatigue quite a bit near the end of the day. I would just close them for a few seconds and focus on somethng far away and all was good.

Glad to hear everything went well. I've been debating getting lasik for years (not that the money has been there to back that debate, though!)
