The spa treatment did the trick!
I already got my machine back - they must have seen the crazy look in my eye when I dropped it off, fearing it would be gone for ages.

Their little sample stitching....not a skipped stitch in the bunch. Hurray!
And accumulated a nice stack of hexagons-to-be while I was waiting for my machine to return.

yay! I'm glad your machine is back in shape. I've got a stack of sewing too and really need to get back to it. The end of the semester just really ate up all my free time and energy.
