Quilting experiment

I used my crafty project to try out some free hand pebble quilting. I thought it was a perfect match for this fabric that looks a little like fireworks. Plus, the whole thing is only about 8"x11" so I knew I wasn't going to be doing it for days.

That texture is perfect for my water bottle holder - I love it! I made these two as I sat up late waiting for the airline to release my Hawaii return flights for booking. As I held them up in triumph, admiring them last night, my husband asked if I wanted him to applaud. Yes. Yes I do.

Low 70's and sunny today - a perfect day for another local hike with my cool new carriers!

Beautiful quilting and fits very well with the fabric. A truly wonderful and necessary. I like both very much!

Looks great, and perfect for the fabric! (Which I have a few yards of... must do something summery and fun.) Will have to give that one a try.

Great job with the quilting! It loks really good with the fabric.

You know that is my least favorite part of the whole process (and the most stressful for me)!

Have a good weekend.
